IME8082 - Growing Through Disaster

Course Description

This course will provide a roadmap for the church's response to disasters and traumatic events that impact our world today. Special focus will be on offering trauma and financial recovery tools for faith communities.

Course Objectives

At the completion of this course, the student will be able to

  1. Better understand the how the Church can help people in times of crisis
  2. Articulate the faith-based steps of recovery from trauma and finances
  3. Set up financial assessments, spending plans, and financial planning models
  4. Model mission-based ministries of relief, recovery, and restoration of hope
